NO COMMITMENTS, McHALE SAYS
Braves Deny Move Offers

The Milwaukee Braves have
made no commitments to move
out of the city, John McHale,
Braves’ president, said Tuesday.

McHale also said that “we
have never had any offer, as

McHale appeared on a taped
televised news conference, “The

He said that certain factors
have entered the picture to

These factors, he said, were
an offer from the county board
to renegotiate the Stadium con-

concession revenues, and a new
radio, and television offer from
the Jos. Schlitz Brewing Co.

It is estimated that both offers
would mean an additional $250,-

from Schlitz or the county.”

McHale commented that peo-

He said that the Braves
