Interview with Leon S. Eplan, conducted during the writing of Georgia Tech History, Technology, and Society Professor Ronald H. Bayor's 1996 book Race and the Shaping of Twentieth-Century Atlanta. Eplan addresses racist development policies in the interstate highway system and building of streets. Eplan was an Atlanta city planner as well as Commissioner of Atlanta's Department of Budget and Planning from 1974-1978.
