Interview with L. D. Milton, conducted during the writing of Georgia Tech History, Technology, and Society Professor Ronald H. Bayor's 1996 book Race and the Shaping of Twentieth-Century Atlanta. In this interview, Milton discusses racial issues in Atlanta during a period of development for the city. Milton was the President of the African American-owned Citizens Trust Bank from 1930-1971. He co-owned the Yates and Milton drugstores and was active in the development of an African American single-family housing complex in Collier Heights, known as Crestwood Forest.
