Dear Mr. Crissey:

With further reference to your letter of February 14,
Mr. Wofford reports that there is some misinterpre-
tation of the ordinance.

He reports that the ordinance does not require that
existing appliances be disconnected in order to test
heretofore installed gas lines in buildings, but the
ordinance does require that any new gas line installed
be tested and approved before it is used. Pressure
tests on existing gas lines will hot be required.

I hope that this clarifys the ordinance, and should you
need any additional information, I am sure Mr. Wofford
will be happy to be af assistance.
