Dear Mr. Thompson:

Thank you for your letter of July 9, 1968 in which you expressed a
desire to have Atlanta, Georgia selected as a city to participate in
the In-City Experimental Housing Project.

As of the present time no cities have been selected or rejected for a
role in the experimental project. Kaiser Engineers, the prime contractor,
is reviewing the information obtained in Phase I of the contract. When
their review is complete, the information will be submitted to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development which will make the final
selections.

Let me assure you that Atlanta will be given every consideration possible
for inclusion.
