Mr. Rudolph Bing

New York, New York
Dear Mr. Bing?
I know that you have received communications recently from Mrs.
King and other Atlanta citizens concerned over the plans for the
1968 Opera season in Atlanta.
I very much appreciated Mr, Robinson's reply to my letter of June 5,
forwarding a report of a meeting which was held with Mr. Kennedy,
officials of the Atlanta Junior League and members of the Atlanta
Committee for Cultural Opportunities.
We appreciate the difficulty which those in charge have in making
tickets available to new persons, but we are also aware of the growing
feeling of many Atlanta residents that these opportunities must be
extended to new groups. I recall that Mr. Kennedy explained that
several years ago, rearrangements were made about season tickets
so that the number of performances included in a season ticket was
reduced and thereby additional tickets were made available for many
persons. Perhaps rearrangeméng af tickets could be made for next year.
We look forward to working with all of those who have done so much
to provide this opportunity for Atlanta.
Sincerely,
(Mrs,) Eliza K. Paschall
