Dear Mr. Hamer:
Ihave received and reviewed your letter of September 25, concerning
matters which will be considered at the meeting of the Board of Fire
Masters on Monday, September 29.
Because of a previous commitment of long standing, I will be unable
to personally attend this meeting. lam, however, sending as my
representative, George Berry, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer.
I have also asked Mr. Nat Welch, Executive Director of the Community
Relations Commisaion, to be in attendance at this meeting.
