Gentlemen:

I acknowledge and thank you for your letter of April 4, 1967
and for the enclosed check in the amount of $28,500 made
payable to the City of Atlanta for the purposes of purchasing
and installing at least four portable swimming pools in the
hard-core poverty areas in our city.

We deeply appreciate this generous gesture on the part of The
Rich Foundation and look forward in the next few days to
supplying you with a framed copy of the resolution accepting
this gift.

We will keep you informed as to the progress being made on
the purchese and assembly of these pools and anticipate with
pleasure dedication of these new facilities in the four
respective areas selected.
