Mr. Wilbur G. Kurtz, Jr.
Post Cffice Box 1734
Atlanta, Georgia
Dear Mr. Kurtz:
Thank you for your letter of March 8S, 1967 and advising that
Mr. Bruce A, McNaughton of New York City has forwarded to
you a. check in the amount of $10. which is to serve as a
contribution towards the new home for the Cyclorama painting.
I agree this is a very fine gesture and I will immediately
acknowledge it on behalf of the City. It will be necessary
for a resoltuion to be passed by the Mayor and Board of
Aldermen authorizing the acceptance of this check and the
creation of a special account; however, this is simply
routine paper work so don't concern your self about it.
Please endorse your check as follows: “Pay only to the order
of City of Atlanta" end mail to my attantion and I will
handle the bell from there.
We were all deeply saddened by the passing of your father who
hes certainly left his mark on Atlanta. Anyone would be
pores to say that they hed known him, that he was a friend or
relative.
