Dear Mr. Sheats:

Thank you for your letter of May 27, 1969 concerning

severe vandalism to the Health Clinic building at
Adamsville.

We, of course, would like very much to acquire the

Health Center and use it in conjunction with the
Recreation Center at this iocation. As I understand
it, the City Attorney's office would like to discuss
with you the City's position relative to ownership of
this property. Thus, I am sending a carbon of this
reply and a Xerox of yours to Mr. Thomas F. Choyce,
Associate City Attorney.

Our position, of course, is that the City owns part

of this property-~-and we would like to acquire the
ether part. Just as soon as my superiors have reached
a decision in this matter, I will let you know.
