After watching the television account of the riot last
night, and seeing and hearina the way tn which you
handled the situation, I just want to Let you know that
T am proud to be abfe to say that we once worked together
on a Persennel Committee at Rich's, and congratulate you
on the fine wau you handed yoursels.
T know 4t took guts and a Lot of courage to face what
you had to face, and vou probably asked yourself 44
being Mayor was worth it. T am sure that the people
of Atlanta are as proud of vou as we ane, and T with
you eentinued success in the thankless office vou hold,
