Dear Mayor Allen:
I've been thinking lately how fortunate
we are to have you as our Mayor and what
outstanding accomplishments you have
achieved in that position, particularly
under current conditions of the firemen's
strike and race riots. Another thought
occurred to me - "why not tell him so",
That is the purpose of this letter.

With all good wishes to you and yours,
