MESSAGE: The above person called this office at the above time compliment-
ing Mayor Ivan Allen for the remarks or comments that he had seen
the Mayor make on Television eariier this afternoon that was on
T.V. in Tampa, Fla, Stated to me, that in his opinion Mayor Allen
was avery fine fellow and that he agreed and supported his views
one hundred percent on the recent problems that he has been faced
with and he only regretted that he could not be here to shake his
hend personally and ask that I shake his hand for him,

Mr White is a native of Infield N.v., and is working at present
in Tampa. I assured him that his compliments and also his interest
was appreciated, and that said message would be delivered to Mayor
Allen,
