May I acknowledge your letter of July 27, 1962, and
advise that I have also heard from Mr. C. J. Owens

Farmer at 512 Haldane Drive, S. W., Mr. C. H.
Daniels at 499 Haldane Drive, 5S. W. and Mr. and Mrs.
J. H. Thames, 654 Fielding Lane, S. W.
I want to assure you that my office is available at all
times to assist the citizens of Atlanta in any way I can.
This includes matters of which you spoke in your letter
concerning block busting. If you would like to come and
talk about this matter and would like for me to set upa
meeting with your aldermen, Mr. Farris and Mr. Summers,
for an overall discussion, I should be glad to do so.
I have previously discussed this matter with a numberjof
people in order to be of assistance. It is a difficult
