MILWALKEE BRAVES STATEMENT
The Board of Directors of the Milwalkee Braves, Inc. voted
today to request permission for the National League to move their
national league franchise to Atlanta for the 1965 season. At the
request of Warren Giles, President of the National League, no further
statement will be issued until after a meeting of the National League’
to be held in New York tomorrow. Following the league meeting,
{fll a major statement will be issued by the Board of Directors of the
Millwalkee Braves.
