Dear Mayor:
Milton Farris, Chairman of the Job Opportunities
Committee, has requested that I write you suggesting
that a Negro be appointed to the Committee to re-
place the late Judge Walden. I concur with this
suggestion.
We have no recommendations as to who should be ap-
pointed other than that he should be a person re-
spected by the Negro community.
