Dear Committee Member:

Chairman, Cecil A. Alexander, who is out of the City, asked me to inform you
that the next meeting of the Executive Croup of the Housing Resources Committee,

normally sch nes uled for Thursday, September 7, will be held at 10:00 a.n. Tuesday,
September 12 in Committee Room #2, Second Floor, City Hall. A brief report
will be expected on the activities of each Panel.
Request that all members of the Land Panel and Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen
of other panels attend the meeting on September 12, which will be devoted largely
to consideration of available land in the City appear lately zoned for multi-family

low-income housing development (see attached material

We hope to determine at the meeting recommendations for presentation at a
joint meeting with the Planning and Development Committee of the Board of slidermen,

previously requested by the Housing Resources Committee and now scheduled for
2:00 pem. Friday, September 15.

I expect to have some specific proposals drafted for your consiceration at
‘the September 12 meeting.

Both meetings are very important in view of the Planning Department's current
study of the entire City in preparation for a comprehensive revision of the
