RESOLUTION
The undersigned West End Jaycees, being in lawful session
assembled on the day hereinafter inscribed, in the regular order
of business properly presented, find that:
WHEREAS, The West End Jaycees believe that the brother-
hood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations; and
WHEREAS, The West End Jaycees further believe that
government should be of laws rather than of men and that earth's
great treasures lies in human personalities; and
WHEREAS, The laws of the City of Atlanta are specific as
to the unlawfulness of riots and unruly gatherings of any citizen
or non citizen.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the West End Jaycees commends The Honorable Ivan
Allen, Mayor of the City of Atlanta, because of his spreading
of brotherhood in the way he directed our most able Police
Department to dispell the riots that have been forming in the
last two weeks.
