Although I am not a supporter of
Mr. Maddox, and I think it is wmfort-
nate for Geor,ia that he is a prospect
for Governor, I think your statement
yesterday concerning him is unfortunate
and unweranted. Though he may make a
poor~overnor, if elected finally, your
caustic coment was out of order.
