because of the white backlash was a most unfortunate, un-cslled for,
irresponsible statement of the rankest sort,

Such a statement does greet injustice to the Republican Farty
of Georgia in general and the people of Georgia in particular.
Your inference seems to be only those votes with racial overtones



were cast for Barry Goldwater. This is what all doctinaire liberals
would ae ‘to think. I personally feel you owe the people of Georgia
