Dear Mayor Allen:

I'm sure you are very busy and your schedule
is loaded. Please do not take time to answer this
letter. First of all, as a dentist, I commend
your stand on fluoridation. I attended the break-
fast at which you spoke at the Marriott during the
Hinman Dental Meeting.

Secondly, your position on our civil rights
problem and your action during our recent trouble
have clinched my respect for you as a man. I'm
not certain that you weren't reckless with your
life, though.

Lastly, your statement following the run-off
catasthrope has made my wife and I unswerving ad-
mirers and supporters of yours from here on in.
The man has to be a fool, but a dangerous fool,
and must be stopped someway. Please put my card
