I read your statement before the Senate
Commerce Committee in the New York Times this
morning and I was thrilled and proud that I
knew you. I feel it was one of the finest,
most sincere, most courageous statements I
have ever heard. Coming from the Mayor of
Atlanta, it was particularly meaningful and
Significant.

Sue joins me in sending our best to Louise.
We are about to leave on our vacation to Aspen,
Colorado, but I could not leave without express-
ing the admiration and respect I always feel for
the things that you do in public life.
