Interview with Collier Gladin, conducted during the writing of Georgia Tech History, Technology, and Society Professor Ronald H. Bayor's 1996 book Race and the Shaping of Twentieth-Century Atlanta. This interview concentrates on Gladin's accounts of housing development in Atlanta, especially the "white flight" and transition of segregated areas due to public housing. Gladin served as Atlanta's Chief Planner from 1959-1965 and Director of City Planning from 1965-1979.
