Dear Mayor Allen:

I wanted to let you know how much all of the Young Republicans
appreciated you attending their meeting and talking about some
of the problems which face our city.
Speaking for myself, I would certainly heartedly endorse your
proposals, particularly in regards to merging the services of
Atlanta and Fulton County. I just makes plain sense to do so,
although I know that there will probably be objections from the
usual objectors. If the Young Republicans can be of any help to
you in this project, I certainly hope that you will let us mow,
Although I have disagreed in the past and probably will do so in
the future with you on national partisan politics, I do want you
to know that in my opinion you have done an outstanding job in
your six years as Mayor. Even your severest critics will have
to acknowledge that you have the courage to attack problems that
persons of lesser backbone would leave alone.
Best regards,
Sincerely,
Cpls u
