Dear Mayor Allen:
| am sending you a copy of the letter which was sent to Mr. Edward
Sterne, Chairman of the Aflanta Housing Authority. Although it
outlines the observations of a class of second year graduate stu-
dents of social work, it expresses also my concerns and hopes for
slum clearance, urban renewal, and public housing.
As a responsible citizen and a professional social worker | feel
that it is my duty to share with the Authority and you any suggestions
| may have which | believe will contribute to the improvement of our
public housing program and enhancement of the lives of the citizens
served by the Atlanta Housing Authority.
