Dear Mr. Cooper:

I have observed that the Atlanta Transit Company's Parking Lot
bounded by Piedmont Avenue, Forrest Avenue and Courtland Street
has recently been completely re-landscaped or "re-modeled."'

In doing this, it is my opinion that their President, Mr. Robert

Sommerville has shown an interest in improving the physical
appearance of our city somewhat beyond the usual extent for such

facilities.

Because I feel that Atlanta Civic Design Commission is desirous
of encouraging these types of improvements for Atlanta, I am
suggesting that a citation or a letter of commendation be sent

to Mr. Sommerville.
