Dear Mr. Montgomery
Confirming our telephone conversation of July 7, 1967, it
will be possible, given a few days notice, to supply one
recreation leader for the stadiun parking lot toosnperyise
children end young people using this facility. We will also
be eble to supply beskethalls, volleyballs, etc. Bv @ories
of this letter, I em advising Miss Carmichael, Director of
Reereation, end Mr. Tom Christenson, Director of Operation
Champ (our summerwide recreation program), to be prepared
to staff this facility upon notification from your office.
Personnel will be paid with Federal funds which will expire
August 31, 1967. Like many other neighborhood playlots and
Operation Chemp locations, we don't know what we will do
come September 1, toward staffing these facilities.
We perticularly appreciete your interest in this matter end
assuring you of our desire to be of service, I am
