Dear Ann: \
Regarding the proposed contribution of $500.00 on behalf of
the B'nai B'rith Girls, the zoo thought the money was forth-
coming and we went ahead and purchased a one year old
chimpanzee. No harm has been done in that at the time the
funds are actually donated we will simply replace the money
in the animal account. The baby chimp is really a darling,
wears diapers, etc.
We appreciate you suggesting the purchase of an animal for
their charitable cause and I am
