Dear Mr. and Mrs. Thames:
May I acknowledge your letters of July 24, 1962, and
advise that I have also heard from Mr. C. J. Owens, at
681 Fielding Lane, S. W., Mr. and Mrs. Bobby F.
Farmer at 512 Haldane Drive, 5. W., and Mr. C. H.
Daniels at 499 Haldane Drive, S. W
I want to asaure you that my office is available at all
times to assist the citizens of Atlanta in any way I can.
This includes matters of which you spoke in your letter
concerning block busting. If you would like to come and
‘alabout-this matter and would like for me to set up a
meeting with your aldermen, Mr. Farris and Mr. Summers,
for an overall discussion, I should be glad to do so. ~
I have previously discussed this matter with a number of
people in order to be of assistance. Itis a difficult
