Mr. Ivan Allen, Jr., Mayor
City of Atlanta

City Hall

Atlanta, Georgia

Dear Mayor Allen:

MY HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR STAND WITH REGARD TO
MR. LESTER MADDOX.....YOU, MR. ALLEN, ARE PRICELESS?

The world must be told that true Georgians are not the
rebels of our nation. My great-grandfather surrendered
at Appomattox, with General Lee. Your stand was as much
a mark of true leadership as was this surrender. There
are many intelligent, logical thinking people in this
state who feel exactly as you do.

Mr. Maddox is in no way qualified to be Governor of the
State of Georgia, but he is well-qualified to embarrass
our state before the world.

You may feel that you must go fishing on election day,
but I must GO-BOo!

Sincerely, ;

PK YO
