FROM: Jack C. Delius, General Manager of Parks & Recreation
SUBJECT: Pedestrian footbridge, Gun Club Park Site (Perry Homes)
Mr. Bathke of the Atlanta Housing Authority has advised
me on October 16, 1967 that the Housing Assistance Authority
has authorized the expenditure of up to $6,000 for the
Atlanta Housing Authority to spend on the construction of
a pedestrian footbridge designed by Mr. Bathke to cross
Proctor Creek &n order te make Gun Club Park Site readily
accessible to portions of Ferry Homes Housing Project.
Mr. Bathke said it was now the responsibility of the
Atlanta Housing Authority to somehow work this $6000 into
their internal budget limitations for the Perry Housing
Project and to of course obtain bids for the total project
including abutments, etc. not to exceed this sum.
