‘SUBJECT: Status of Carnegie Triangle
Me. Walter Hendrix, Assistant Lend Agent, telephoned me this dete
to give a status report on the Carnegie Triangle acquisition.
&s you may know, we heve so fer scquired one half undivided
interest in one of the four puercels (Jesse Draper). The other
one half undivided interest of this seme parcel, as i understend
it, is owned by Mr. Roy Livingston. Mr. Hendrix states thet
Mr, Livingston hea been i11 for the last few weeks but hes
indicated « willingness to go shead and sign the purchase egreement.
The second parcel is owned by American Motor Hotels (Dr. Mervin
Geldstein). Mr. Hendrix reports that Dr. Goldstein is now pre«
peared to sign the sales docunents on his parcel. ‘The two remeining
parcels are the Clarke and Davis properties. Mr. Hendrix advises
that Assistant City Attorney, Ferrin Methews, held a condemnation
hearing iste last week end that the Special Master made en award
slightly less then the eppreised value, which wes initislly offered
to the owners. There is some slight indicetion that one or both
of these owners may appeal the award.

seession of the triangle is to complete the purchase of one half

the papers with dr. Goldstein for his parcel.
Finally, Mr. Mendrix advises that HUO requires © ninety-day grace
peried before we can move out the present tenants.
